Based in 3 wonderful spaces at Freshwater on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Musical Chairs is an introduction into the world of the performing arts for children aged approx. 5 to 12 years. In one fun filled afternoon, three groups rotate on each of the three core disciplines of singing, dancing and drama. Three teachers, proficient in their chosen discipline are employed to teach each 35-40 minute medium.
On our ‘revolving stage’, the core skills taught in our classes provide an excellent springboard into the unique genre of musical theatre and provide the invaluable opportunity to develop skills, meet new friends and enjoy the experience of putting together a showcase for performance.
Children participate purely for enjoyment. No prior musical, dance or drama experience is required to attend our classes as every child has unique qualities, abilities and talents. Staff strive to nurture each student’s individual talents whilst broadening their abilities. They provide each child with endless opportunities for creative involvement and development with their peers.
